The party flag is described in the party Constitution [1], which was adopted
by the General Assembly of the party on 1993-11-9:
Art. III : FLAG
The
party shall have a flag of yellow (orange colour) with a length and breadth at
the ratio of 7:4. At the centre of the flag there shall be a "Shining Sun" with
red colour within a circle.
Colour and Symbol
Orange Yellow
represents, service, sacrifice and purity. Shining Sun represents source of
life, energy, justice and victory.
According to the endnote of the
Constitution [1], the party was registered with the Election Commission of India
on 1993-12-23. It is unclear whether it still exists, because it seems to have
lost the status of the state party between March 2006 [2] and November 2007 [3].
No photos of the flag could be found on the Web; only a thumbnail image of such
a photo can currently be found via the Google image search [4]. There is also
the photo of the cover of a book about the party, which is available at the
Flipkart online bookstore [5]. Two photos differ in colour shades and even more
in the size of red disc which represents the sun. The above image of the flag is
created by combining the details of these two images: the colour shades are
based on those of the book cover scan, which are probably reproduced more
accurately, and the disc size is based on the Google thumbnail image, which is
currently the only image showing a flag in real use.
